Join us on Wednesday 25th April from 5.30pm to 8pm, where you will have a chance to see first-hand, how our team grow fruit and veg using organic principles. in a sustainable, environmentally friendly way. We have been working hard to develop our stunning market garden, apple orchard and a wild f lower meadow, sure to inspire all you budding gardeners.

Meet our volunteers and Earthworkers, a fabulous team of adults with learning disabilities who have worked tirelessly to create this unique allotment, harvesting fruit and veg to sell at St Albans Farmers market. Find out more about the supported work experience placements at Earthworks and how they help build a broad range of life skills, confidence and increased health and wellbeing.

You will also be able to check out the Earthworks ‘log cabin’ made of sustainably sourced English oak, lit by solar power and insulated with sheep fleece!  A wood burning stove provides the heat and help makes this a uniquely environmentally friendly building!

Our exciting plans to pilot an innovative new service ‘Earthworks on Wheels’, will also be revealed at this event.  So, if you’d like to be the first to hear about this new initiative to take a team of ‘Earthworkers’ out into the community be sure to pop along.
